Wisdom Teeth Removal
Although most people develop and grow 32 permanent teeth, many times their jaws are too small to accommodate the four wisdom teeth. When inadequate space prevents the teeth from erupting they are called impacted. This indicates their inability to erupt into the proper position for chewing and cleaning.
Dental Implants
Natural teeth and implant-supported replacement teeth have the same basic parts. Both have a crown and both have a root that holds the tooth securely under the gum and is anchored into the jaw. The difference is that the implant is made of titanium.
Bone Grafting
Missing teeth over a period of time can cause your jaw bone to atrophy, or resorb. In these situations, dental implants won’t work. We have the ability to grow bone. This gives us the opportunity to place implants of proper length/width and it also gives a chance to restore functionality and appearance.

The CS 9300 system gives our oral and maxillofacial practice state-of-the-art technology to help diagnose potential issues more accurately and provide treatment with confidence. This 3D system utilizes cone beam CT technology and provides precise, crystal-clear digital images while minimizing your exposure to radiation.
Anesthesia
Several methods of anesthesia are available. The method of anesthesia that is chosen for or by a patient depends upon the nature of the surgical procedure and the patient’s level of apprehension.
Facelift
Facelift surgery, or a rhytidectomy, is designed to restore a more youthful appearance by removing major wrinkles and sagging skin. It involves tightening of the facial and neck muscles as well as the removal of any excess skin.

Meet James Gregory Anderson, DDS
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires four-six additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. Dr. Anderson specializes in a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Known by his colleagues in the Dental and Medical professions as both a provider of continuing education to others and as a doctor always seeking more learning while keeping up with all the latest diagnostic and surgical advancements in his field.
